We support clients through fundraising rounds, be that seed or Series A, treating this as a separate project on top of the monthly billing. To build your data room and support you with VCs through the raise, we change our fees at a small percentage of the raise, typically 0.1-0.3% depending on the final raise amount.

Foundation
Our base-level service – just right for companies who have recently raised a seed round. To keep costs manageable, we cover the basics of everything you need to manage your finances, from bookkeeping to accounts, doing your books once a month. As part of this package, you’ll get a quarterly review with Ben providing CFO-level advice on growth.

Growth
Our most popular package for seed-stage startups going for growth. Alongside our standard weekly finance management, we also include financial modelling, CFO meetings with Ben to discuss growth, boardroom support, EIS/SEIS compliance, EMI compliance and one EMI valuation per year. We also include free subscriptions to our standard fintech stack, saving you £600/year.

Scale
For companies approaching their Series A funding round. With this package, we act as your in-house finance team as you prepare to raise.
The hours for this package are uncapped, covering everything from bookkeeping and accounts to in-house finance training, updating forecast models, finance policies and liaising with investors. Also included: free subscriptions to our full fintech stack, saving £1200/year.

Founder - Ben Adams
I’m a chartered accountant and portfolio CFO with a real passion for helping UK tech startups grow. Together with my team, we get you the management information you need to make the right calls, optimise your processes and handle time-consuming financial admin.
I started my career in Mazars’ tax team, qualifying and leaving for the startup world as soon as I could. Since then, I’ve worked as operations director of Ask the BOSS, advising small businesses on growth, before working as CFO of Claimer and FC of Trade Ledger, both Fintech startups. In all my roles, I’ve advised on finance and business strategy, working with product and tech teams to achieve product-market fit and raise investment. I’m now using those hard-won skills to help other seed-stage startups do the same.
